Pat Shibinski Practice Facility Within The Jean Dowell Building

This facility was at one time home to the Lions’ women’s volleyball and basketball programs. Today the gym in the building is used for the University’s intramural programs, as an extra practice court for both the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams. A new court was installed during the summer of 2011. 

In 2025 this facility was updated and rebranded as a tribute to long-time Mount St. Joseph Athletic Administrator Pat Shibinski, for her 42 years of dedicated service to the University. 

*Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in the Dowell Gymnasium. Service animals are the only animals permitted inside of MSJ Athletic facilities
