The College of Mount St. Joseph men's tennis team hosted Earlham College for a match on Saturday. The Lions were defeated 9-0 by Ealham.
In the number one spot for the Lions was William Knoll (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin) who put in a scare into Anton Bartasevich of Earlham, losing 6-4, 6-3. Knoll and Ian Rowe (Winchester, KY/George Rogers Clark) also played a strong match in the number one doubles matchup. Bartasevich and Jack Ventuera-Cruess of Earlham won the match by a score of 8-4.
The Lions will return to action with another home match next Saturday. The Lions will host HCAC-foe Manchester University at the Mount Tennis Courts.
