Host Capital University men's tennis team ended the Lions' two-match winning streak on Wednesday afternoon, collecting a 9-0 win over the Mount. The Lions go to 2-1 on the season and will return to the courts on Sept. 22 when they host Indiana University East.
Three different Mount singles' players won two games each in their match, William Knoll (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin), Cooper Wade (Milan, IN/Milan), and Ian Stutz (Troy, OH/Troy). The Mount's second and third doubles teams were each defeated by 8-1 scores.
Capital improves to 1-1 with the victory.
