Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Mount St. Joseph Lions concluded their impressive 2024 season with a hard-fought battle in the first round of the NCAA DIII Women's Soccer Tournament, facing off against the Carnegie Mellon Tartans. Despite their effort to capitalize on their opportunities, the Lions fell short to the Tartans 4-0.

Darren Gallagher, who took over in 2019. Coach Gallagher, now holding an impressive 60-37-14 career record, is eager to guide this young core and carry the momentum into 2025. The Lions look to build on this year with the strong group of underclassmen.
