Harrington Center Usage Policy

The Harrington Student Center facility for personal recreational purposes during open hours to MSJ students, faculty and staff. This includes the walking/running track and the gym floors in both the Harrington Center and Jean Dowell building. All facilities in the Harrington Center are closed during home athletic events in the space. 
 
The weight room within the Harrington Center is now closed except to MSJ athletic programs performing “team lifts” under the supervision of a coach.

Mount St. Joseph is a tobacco free campus. Use of tobacco is not permitted anywhere including the grounds and parking lots.

University Closed Due to Weather:
In the event that the University closes for weather or other emergency reasons, every effort will be made to open the Harrington Center facilities for resident student use. This schedule will be based on the availability of staff to open and supervise the building. Commuters should not come to campus unless there is an authorized event that will be supervised by University staff.
 
Guest Policy for Faculty, Staff and Students
Three guests are permitted with one Faculty, Staff or Student Mount ID Card holder. The Mount host must be present at all times.
 
Alumni
Alumni of Mount St. Joseph have the ability to utilize the facility with a valid alumni ID. To obtain an Alumni ID you must contact the Alumni office. Alumni are permitted one guest in athletic facilities.

The Mount is not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged while using the Harrington Center.
