Andrew Pacifico enters his second year at MSJ as the Men’s and Women’s Throws Coach.

A native of Springboro, Ohio, Andrew brings a strong passion for the throws to the Mount St. Joseph University track & field program. A former collegiate hammer thrower at Wilmington College, Andrew began his coaching journey as a volunteer throws coach at Springboro High School, where he developed foundational coaching experience and gave back to his hometown community.

In October 2024, Andrew joined the coaching staff at MSJ as the throws coach. In just his first season, he made an immediate impact, coaching athletes to break five school records across the men’s and women’s hammer throw, women’s javelin, and both women’s indoor and outdoor shot put. Under his guidance, three athletes earned four collective all-conference honors, including two conference champions (women’s javelin and men’s hammer) and two third-place finishers (women’s indoor shot put and women’s hammer).

Highlighting a standout year, Andrew also coached a women’s javelin thrower to a national championship qualification—an impressive achievement in just his first season at the collegiate coaching level.
