Blake Watson enters his 10th academic year as the Sports Information Manager at Mount St. Joseph University. A proud MSJ alumnus, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration in 2019 and recently completed his Master’s in Organizational Leadership in 2025, both from the Mount.

Blake is an active member of College Sports Communicators (CSC), a former member of the CSC Academic All-America Committee, and currently serves as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference’s representative to the Division III Baseball Regional Advisory Committee.

During his tenure as Sports Information Manager, Blake has proudly mentored numerous student interns who have gone on to successful careers in sport. He has overseen and facilitated significant transitions at the Mount, including a change in website providers, a full website overhaul, and the successful launch of the MSJSportsNetwork on YouTube.

Blake spent six years serving in the United States Navy as an aviation mechanic. He has also worked for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, using his role to mentor young people through sport. In addition, he has volunteered as a coach for multiple sports with various organizations throughout the Cincinnati area.

Blake hopes to continue his career in sports information, sharing his passion for Division III athletics and the Mount with anyone who will listen. He spends his free time with his wife of 15 years, Courtney, and their 14-year-old son, Jaxon
