Clarissa Craig joins the Mount St. Joseph University women’s basketball program as an assistant coach, bringing Division I playing experience and a strong basketball background to the Lions’ staff.

A Cincinnati native, Craig had a standout career at Roger Bacon High School, where she finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder. Following her high school career, Craig continued her playing career at the NCAA Division I level, spending her first three seasons at the University of Cincinnati before transferring to the University of New Mexico for her senior season.

Craig brings tremendous energy and a strong work ethic to the Mount and will play an important role in the development of MSJ’s student-athletes. Her experience as a collegiate post player will provide incredible value in the development of the Lions’ current and future post players.

Craig earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and later earned her master’s degree in Organization, Information and Learning Sciences with a concentration in Human Resources.

She is the daughter of Cleevas and Lasaundra Craig.
