Jason Kammer returns for his 25th season of coaching with the Lions' baseball team.

Jason Kammer joined the coaching staff in 2000 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Mount and playing baseball for four years under former Lion’s Head Coach, Chuck Murray. "Coach Kam" was part of back-to-back 30-win teams in 1999 and 2000, including the regional runner-up and HCAC conference championship team his senior year. He was an Academic All-Conference selection and a member of the National College Athletic Honor Society.

Coach Kammer has served as a high school head coach and an assistant coach in various summer and fall leagues around the city. In 2020, he received the Alumni Impact Award from the Mount, recognizing graduates who have excelled professionally while continuing to serve their communities.

Kammer primarily serves as the team’s bench coach, guiding offensive and defensive strategies, and off the field he assists with recruiting.

A St. Xavier High School graduate, Kammer is also the Senior Vice President and Senior Director of Technology Product Strategy for Fifth Third Bank. He resides in Delhi Township, Ohio, with his wife Heather (Mount class of 2000) and their daughters Grace, Olivia, and Stella.
