Jeff Hill returns for his 4th consecutive season and 9th season overall with the Mount St. Joseph University track & field staff. Hill first joined the Lions’ football staff as a seasonal assistant from 2000–2003 before returning as a full-time assistant football coach and assistant track & field coach from 2006–2008. In 2008, he served as the interim head track & field coach, later continuing as an assistant coach from 2009–2010 and rejoining the staff again in 2023.
 
Beyond the Mount, Hill built a strong reputation in collegiate coaching. As head coach at a nearby institution, he guided the men’s program to the 2017 President’s Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championship and coached multiple athletes to national championship appearances at both the NCAA Division III and NAIA levels.
 
A Cincinnati native, Hill is a graduate of Mt. Healthy High School, where he earned All-State honors in football as a running back and in track & field as a long jumper. He went on to compete at Purdue University, where he was a four-year starter for the Boilermakers at both running back and wide receiver. After his time with the Boilermakers, Coach Hill had a three-year career in the NFL as a wide receiver and kick returner for the Cincinnati Bengals.
