Wendy Zureick Smith serves as the Athletic Operations Manager at Mount St. Joseph University, where she oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions that support the university's athletic programs. With more than 20 years of experience in athletics administration, education, and organizational leadership, she brings a strong background in operations management, budget administration, event coordination, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

In her role, Wendy manages a wide range of operational responsibilities, including scheduling, purchasing, budget tracking, event logistics, vendor coordination, and departmental administration. She works closely with coaches, student-athletes, campus departments, officials, and external partners to ensure the efficient operation of the university's athletic programs while providing exceptional service and support.

Prior to joining Mount St. Joseph University, Wendy served for more than a decade as Athletic Director at Seton High School in Cincinnati. There, she directed all aspects of a 15-sport athletic program serving nearly 400 student-athletes. She managed departmental budgets, supervised coaching staff, coordinated athletic events and facilities, oversaw compliance with Ohio High School Athletic Association regulations, and strengthened relationships with students, families, alumni, donors, and community partners. Earlier in her career, she spent 13 years as an elementary educator and also gained valuable business experience as a marketing department assistant with United Dairy Farmers.

A graduate of Mount St. Joseph University, Wendy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. Her diverse professional experience, attention to detail, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to operational excellence make her a valued member of the university's athletics team. She is dedicated to creating an environment where coaches and student-athletes have the administrative support and resources needed to achieve success both on and off the field.
