Harrington Center

The Jean Patrice Harrington Student Center offers members of the Mount community a home for a full-range of student services as well facilities for recreation, fitness, intramurals, and varsity athletics. The completion of the Harrington Center in 1998 was a significant time in history for the Mount. It accompanied the athletics transition from NAIA to the NCAA III Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, as well as the inception of the Lions’ men’s basketball program.

The 2,000-seat gymnasium is the official home of the Mount St Joseph University's men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, and wrestling teams. The center also serves as a training and practice facility for all of the Mount’s 22 varsity sports.

The Harrington Center houses intramural sports, a golf simulation room, an indoor running track, a weight room, and an athletic training room. The center is home to student clubs and organizations, Wellness and Student Health Services and Student Life Offices. As well as the newly renovated Joe Lion's Grille, a casual dining area, which is housed on the lower level where you will also find the Mount's brand new Esports Arena, one of the region's premier Esports venues!

Harrington Center Usage Policy

*Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in the Harrington Center. Service animals are the only animals permitted inside of MSJ Athletic facilities
