Mount men's soccer team loses at home to Hanover College, 3-1

Visiting Hanover College grabbed a halftime lead of 2-0 and went on tonight to post a 3-1 victory over the Lions. The Mount, 2-10-1 overall and 1-3 in the HCAC, returns to action on Oct. 16 when they play at Anderson University in HCAC action.

The Panthers upped the score to 3-0 when they scored within five minutes after halftime. The Lions got on the scoreboard in the 86th minute of play when James Hice (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) scored. The Mount out-shot Hanover, 19-16 in the game and 8-7 in shots on goal.
