Lions' volleyball team goes to 18-7 with two home wins

The Mount continued its winning ways today when they knocked off both SUNY-Fredonia and Mount Union College, at home by identical 3-0 scores. The Lions go to 18-7 on the season after winning their third straight and 13th out of their last 14 matches. They are back in action on Oct. 23 when they play an HCAC match at Manchester College. 

Jamie Grauvogel (Cleves, OH/Harrison) had 14 kils while teammate Kat Roedig (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) added 11 kills and three aces against SUNY-Fredonia. Bethani Ritter (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) added seven aces. Teammates Jennifer Szekely (Morrow, OH/Little Miami) and Michelle Woods (Ft. Wright, KY/Newport Central Catholic) combined for 22 digs.

Grauvogel had 20 kills and Lindsay Criswell (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) chipped in nine kills against Mount Union College. Lyndsay Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) added 34 assists while Woods (15) and Szekely (14) combined for 29 digs.
