Mount volleyball team posts win number 20 of the season

The College of Mount St. Joseph women's volleyball team reached the 20-win plateau for the 14th straight season when they posted a 3-0 win tonight over Carnegie Mellon University at the Wittenberg University Fall Classic. The Lions, now 20-8 overall, will take play fourth-ranked Wittenberg and third-ranked Juniata College in the Classic on Oct. 30.

Lindsay Criswel (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) helped lead a balanced and efficient Mount hitting attack against Carnegie Mellon, recording 11 kills and just two errors in 20 attempts. Teammates Kat Roedig (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) and Jamie Grauvogel (Cleves, OH/Harrison) each had seven kills, and combined for 14 kills with no errors in 24 attempts. The Mount had 34 kills as a team with a .256 hitting percentage to CMU's .012 hitting percentage. Roedig added six service aces while Grauvogel had four service aces.

Lyndsey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) had 24 assists while Jaclyn Stenger (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) chipped in 16 digs.
