Mount women's soccer team suffer first HCAC loss, 4-0 to Earlham College

The Lions dropped their first HCAC game of the season today when they fell by a 4-0 score at Earlham College. The Lions, 3-7-2, 2-1 in the HCAC, return to action on Oct. 13 when they host Hanover College in the Pink Ribbon Girls Day game.

The Quakers out-shot Mount by a 16-9 margin, but just held just an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal. The two teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half. The game marked the fourth time the Mount has been defeated by a 4-0 score in 2010.
