The College of Mount St. Joseph women's soccer season ended today in the HCAC Tournament Seminfinals, with the Lions suffering a 5-0 loss at Transylvania University. The Mount, the third seed in the four-team tournament, finishes the 2010 season with an 8-9-2 overall mark. Transy, the second seed, advances to the HCAC Tournament Championship to take on top-seeded Earlham College.
The Lions were limited to just one shot on goal in the game against the Pioneers, as Transy scored three first half goals and added two second half scores. It was their second straight shutout over the Mount in less than a week.
