Lions' men's soccer squad drops 3-1 home decision to Cincinnati Christian

Visiting Cincinnati Christian University jumped out to a 2-0 lead today and stopped a late Mount comeback attempt to gain a 3-1 victory over the Lions. The Mount (0-3-1) will be back in action on Sept. 14 when they play Thomas More College.

Christopher Corbett (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) scored his first collegiate goal for the Lions in the 66th minute of play to cut the deficit to 2-1 but the Eagles added a late score en route to the victory. Max Hoffman (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) had five saves for the Mount.
