Mount women's soccer team records 1-1 double overtime tie at Capital University

Katie Jauch (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy) scored her first career collegiate goal in the 74th minute of play tonight, as the Mount and host Capital played to a 1-1 double overtime tie. The Crusaders scored with just under three minutes in regulation to tie the game at one-all. Shelbi Benzinger (Covington, KY/Scott) had nine saves for the Lions.

The Mount (1-3-2) is back in action on Sept. 19 when they host Centre College.
