Mount women's volleyball claims HCAC win at Bluffton University

Jamie Grauvogel (Cleves, OH/Harrison) had 29 kills and 10 digs to lead the Mount to a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Bluffton University. The win evened the Lions' season record at 6-6 as they claimed their 2010 HCAC season opener from the Beavers.

The Mount lost the first two games of the match by two points in each game, but rebounded to post wins in games three through 5, 25-17, 25-15 and 15-11. The Lions used a strong and diverse hitting attack in the match, recording a team hitting percentage of .298. Lindsay Criswell (Cincinnati, OH/McAuley) had 17 kills and a .318 hitting percentage while Grauvogel hit .426. Lyndsey Waldman (Batavia, OH/Clermont Northeastern) chipped in 55 assists while Jacklyn Stenger (Cincinnati, OH/Oak Hills) added 23 digs.  

The Lions are back in action on Sept. 24/25 when they host the Charlie Wrublewski HCAC/OAC Challenge.
