The Lions, 5-9 overall, 3-2 in the HCAC, keep pace in the conference standings for a post-season spot. They will resume conference action on Oct. 18 when they host Franklin College.

Jimmy Hice (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) gave the Lions all they needed today in the scoring column, as he blasted a penalty kick past the Anderson goalkeeper just 8:17 into the game. Christopher Corbett (Cincinnati, OH/Elder) widened the lead to 2-0 when he scored in the 71st minute of play. Tyler Kenyon (Cincinnati, OH/Mariemont) had four saves as he recorded the shutout.
