Lions' volleyball team drops matches against top-25 competition at the Great Lakes Regional Challenge

The Mount opened play at the Great Lakes Regional Challenge, in Springfield, OH at Wittenberg University, with three set match losses to both #1 Calvin College and #11 Heidelberg University. The Lions fell to top-ranked Calvin College, 25-22, 25-12, 25-25-20, and to #11 Heidelberg, for the second in this season, 25-18, 25-14, 25-18, to fall to 2-9 on the season.

The Lions wrap-up weekend play at the Challenge on Sept. 17 when they take on Alma College.
