Mount women's soccer squad falls at home to Ohio Wesleyan University

Visiting Ohio Wesleyan University got a goal in the 24th minute of play, and added a second goal at the 66:02 mark of the game, as they held off a Mount attempt to break through, posting a 2-0 win over the Lions. The Mount, 0-2 on the season, returns to action on Sept. 8 when they play against Christopher Newport University.

OWU out-shot the Lions, 21-10 in the game, but held only a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal. Shelbi Benzinger (Covington, KY/Scott) had seven saves in goal for the Mount.
