Wilmington College scored the game's first goal at the 51st minute mark and scored two late second half goals en route to a 3-1 win over the Mount in the Wilmington College Classic Tournament on Friday evening. The Lions, 0-2-1 overall, will play their second and final game of the tournament on Sept. 8 when they take on Muskingum University.
Gabe Abraham (Cincinnati, OH/Northwestern) knotted the score at one-all in the 68th minute of action, when he tallied an unassisted goal, but the Lions would get no closer against Wilmington. Wilmington College out-shot the Mount, 17-14, including 9-6 in shots on goal. The Quakers also had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
Tyler Kenyon (Cincinnati, OH/Mariemont) had six saves for the Lions.
