Host Wilmington College scored two goals in each half on Wednesday night, as they went on to a 4-0 shutout over the Lions. The Mount, 0-6 on the season, will be back in action on Sept. 13 when they play against Wisconsin Lutheran College (2-3) at the Carthage College Battle of the Border in Kenosha, WI.
The Lions recorded four shots in the game against the Quakers, Morgan Froehlke (Oxford, OH/Talawanda) started in goal for the Mount, playing all 90 minutes, and recording 10 saves. Wilmington had 22 shots in the game, including 14 on goal. They held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
