THE BASICS:
Mount St. Joseph University beat Hanover College 38-28 on a beautiful cloudless day to move the team's record to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions started the game out fast after a Tyler Hannah interception on the Panthers opening drive led to a Charles McCall two-yard rushing touchdown. The Panthers answered back late in the first quarter after a blocked Mount field goal attempt.
Throughout the game, the Lions and the Panthers traded touchdowns with the Lions maintaining the lead the entire game thanks to a made Shane Kelly field at the end of the first quarter.

On the ensuing drive for MSJ runningback Darius McDonald racked up 28 yards in three plays to score, giving the Lions the lead by 10. Mount St. Joseph retained the lead for the rest of the game.
