THE BASICS
An Earlham College (6-6-1, 0-3-1 HCAC) goal with just nine minutes remaining sends Mount St. Joseph University (5-5, 2-1 HCAC) to a 2-1 loss on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions had a slow start in the beginning of the first half, with Earlham scoring the first goal at the 11 minute mark. The Lions' Michael Huber came back and scored a goal in the 38th minute making it 1-1 at the end of the first half. In the 81st minute of the second half Earlham's TiQi Brown scored the game winner.
The Lions kept up the determination but just couldn't score with the game ending 2-1. Earlham out-shot MSJ 11-7.
STANDOUTS
The Lions players Teddy Kerr and Colton Lipps played the entire length of the game. Huber had two shots with two on goal.
