Women's soccer falls 1-0 to Franklin College in double overtime

Women's soccer lost a 1-0 heartbreaker in its conference season opener against Franklin College on Friday night. Franklin scored the clincher just 58 seconds into the second overtime.

Franklin out shot the Lions 13-5, while having four shots on target. Taylor Clark and Kaylan Gruber had the two shots on goal for the Lions, but both failed to score.

The Lions (5-4-1, 0-1 HCAC) will hit the road for a 7 p.m. matchup with Rose-Hulman on Oct. 6th.
