HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions started the game out on fire, scoring just over a minute after kickoff. Kaylan Gruber set a ball up for Morgan Knasel to head in and give the Mount a quick lead. That goal set the tone for the rest of the game for the Lions and for Knasel.
Knasel went on to score an unassisted goal in the 17th minute of the game to give the LIons a cushion.
Coming out of the first half, the Lions were still looking good and coming out to play. Megan Grubb assisted the last Knasel goal which again was a header.
The Lions shut the Yellow Jackets down, outshooting them 19-4. The Mount also had 14 shots on target.
STANDOUTS
