Lions ride 548 yards of offense to road win at Anderson

THE BASICS:
A balanced and explosive offensive performance was the difference as the Lions had more than 200 more total yards than the Ravens and cruised to a 54-22 victory to move to 4-2 in the HCAC and third place in the standings. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions (4-3, 4-2 HCAC) jumped out to a quick first quarter lead when Charles McCall rushed for a 10-yard touchdown in the Lions' second possession of the game. Charlie Mullens added a 1-yard touchdown later in the quarter to give the Lions an early 14 point lead. The Lions never trailed in the game and led by at least 20 points throughout most of the second half.

STANDOUTS
Wide receive Garrett Weaver continues to wreck HCAC defenses, this time racking up 136 yards on six catches and a touchdown. He now has 796 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season. Dustin Parker and A.J Glines also caught a touchdown pass each. Tyler White led all rushers with 88 yards and a touchdown while McCall had two touchdowns.

Terry Calloway led the defense with nine tackles and an interception. Pierre Hunter tacked on 5 tackes, an interception and three pass breakups.

The Lions return home to Schueler Field at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday against Bluffton.
