THE BASICS
Mount St. Joseph University (10-5-3, 5-2-2 HCAC) tied Manchester University (5-10-2, 3-4-2 HCAC) 0-0. It was the final regular season game before the Lions take on Franklin University on Wednesday in the semifinal of the HCAC tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After clinching an HCAC playoff spot, head coach Josh Hess saw a chance to play everyone he could to get ready for the game.
Mount St. Joseph had possession for most of the game where they outshot the Spartans 17-7.
Mount defenders played well, only giving up one shot on target which was saved by Lindsey Sturwold.
STANDOUTS
Both Morgan Froehlke and Mackenzie Money played the entire 110 minutes of the game where they combined for three shots. Megan Grubb had three shots on the night with two being on target.
