Lions fall to Heidelberg 1-0 in the 88th minute

Women's Soccer lost a close one to Heidelberg University 1-0. Heidelberg won off a deflected save in the 88th minute which led to a goal.

The Lions outshot the Prince's 20-13, while having eight shots on target. Morgan Knasel (Sidney, OH/Sidney) led the way with six shots and four on target, the most for either team.

Michelle Hessling (Hamilton, OH/Hamilton Badin) accumulated five saves on the night, with one leading to a goal. Hessling made a spectacular diving save only for the rebound to go to Heidelberg's Amanda Kilway who tapped it in for the winning goal.

The Lions will take on Otterbein University at 1 p.m. Sunday in Westerville.
