Box Score 2 The women'€™s volleyball team was swept on Saturday by Ohio Northern University and Baldwin Wallace University in the HCAC vs. OAC Conference Challenge at Muskingum University. The team finished the event with one win and three losses.
Jessica Wilgenbusch (Sunman, IN/East Central) earned all-tournament team honors for the four matches played Friday and Saturday.
Wilgenbusch led MSJ in kills in both matches on Saturday. She accounted for 10 kills and four errors in the match again Ohio Northern. The team once again struggled on serve with seven errors and three aces. Freshman Brianna Looney (Harrison, OH/Harrison) had six kills in the match.
Emily Bostian (Liberty Township, OH/Lakota East) had six kills and hit a team-best .211 in the match against Baldwin Wallace.
The Lions (6-12, 0-0 HCAC) take on Spalding University (5-10) at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Harrington Center.
