Lions drop tough game against Rose-Hulman

Box Score

LOCATION: Reavis Stadium (Greencastle, Indiana)

THE BASICS:

Two timely goals for the Engineers push them to victory over Mount St. Joseph (8-4-3), as Rose-Hulman moves to 6-0 in HCAC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The first half was extremely well-played by both sides, as the match remained scoreless for the majority of the first half.  With less than one minute remaining in the first half, the Engineers found a way to get a timely goal, and put themselves up by a score of 1-0 heading into halftime.

The second half featured more of the same for the Lions.  However, this time the Engineers scored early in the second half, about five minutes into play.  With the Lions being down by a margin of 2-0 the Engineers put their defense on display, holding the Lions to only 2 shots on goal in the second half, both of which were saved.  The Lions would go on to lose the match by a score of 2-0.

UP NEXT:

The Lions will look to get back on track on Saturday when they take on Manchester in a very important away match.  The Lions will try to notch their fourth conference win and continue what has been a successful season.
