HOW IT HAPPENED:
Mount St. Joseph struggled to get anything going on Wednesday afternoon. In the 6th minute of the game, Hanover opened the scoring with a goal from right in front of the net. After that the scoring haulted until the last ten minutes of the first half, when Hanover added 2 more goals for a 3-0 halftime lead.
The second half featured more of the same for the Lions. Hanover spread 3 goals out over the course of the second half, pushing the lead to 6-0. The Lions could not seem to get anything going on offense throughout the entirety of the game and dropped the match by a final of 6-0. This was only the Mount's second HCAC loss of the season, running their record to 6-2 in conference play.
