THE BASICS:
After their big win Friday against North Central the Lions (5-3) took down Wilmington (0-7) and Berea (1-5) to go undefeated on the weekend, notching a record of 3-0 over the course of two days.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Lions started fast and kept their foot on the gas the entire time in their first match against Wilmington. They won the match in convincing fashion, never allowing their opponent to break the 20-point mark in any of the three games.
The second match of the day featured more of the same from the Lions, as they put up another 3-0 victory over Berea. Mount St. Joseph was tested by Berea in the second game, winning by a score of 26-24, before cruising to victory in the third game.
STANDOUTS:
Jessica Wilgenbusch was on fire all day for the Lions. Between the two matches she notched 29 kills and 18 digs, both of which led the team on the day.

The Lions will square off on Wednesday at 7 PM against Cincinnati Christian at the Harrington Center.
