The Basics:
The Lions traveled to Hanover College to take on the Panthers in a conference matchup. The first half ended with the Lions trailing 2-1. When the regulation time came to and end the Lions were down 3-1 and the Panthers took home the win.
How it Happened:
The Lions were hosted by the Panthers of Hanover College in an afternoon conference matchup. In the first half the Panthers got a quick goal to take the lead 1-0. The Lions answered back with a shot by Cameron Willis (Cincinnati, OH / La Salle) assisted by Cameron Middendorf (Cincinnati, OH / La Salle) to tie the game at 1-1. Hanover was able to score another goal before the halftime buzzer sounded.
As the second half began the Lions came out wanting to regain the lead and take a victory back to Delhi. Unfortunately they fought the battle but the Panthers were the ones able to get a last minute goal to secure the conference victory besting the Lions with a final score of 3-1.
Lion Hearted Performance:
The Lion Hearted Performance of the game goes to C. Willis who got the Lions sole goal of the game and gave the Mount a fighting chance going into halftime.

The Lions travel to Franklin College to take on the Grizzley's Saturday, October 27th at 3:30 pm to close out their season.
