Box Score 2 ANDERSON, IND -- The Mount St. Joseph University women's volleyball team continued to dominate with a sweep over the Ravens of Anderson University on Saturday. For the second matchup in a row the Lions have dominated, winning a total of four games and winning 12 of 14 sets. With Saturday's victory the Lions improve their record to 7-3 on the year and 4-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
RESULTS
- The Lions won the first match by scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-22, 25-13, which is the contest that counts for the HCAC standings
- They followed that with another 3-1 victory winning, 25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-23.
NOTABLES
- Freshman Emily Abshire was solid for the Lions on Saturday registering 16 kills between both matches while also hitting .417 in the first match.
- Freshman Addie Conley continued her stellar play with a great outing on Saturday. In the first match Conley registered 7 kills while hitting .278 followed by an outstanding second match when she registered 14 kills while hitting .545
- Sophomore Brooke Aselage continued to be a key piece to the Lions offense with 11 kills in the first match followed by an 8 kill second match in which she hit .353.
- Freshman Grace Young continued to impress with a 15 kill first match for the Lions
- Freshman Maggie McMullen was outstanding for the Lions in match two adding 13 kills while hitting .440
- The setters also had great matches for the Lions on Saturday with sophomore Sam Buschur registering 31 assists in match one, and the freshman duo of Carly Caldwell and Megan Holbrock combining for 50 in match two.

The Mount (7-3, 4-1 HCAC) will be on the road this Wednesday as they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to take on the Fightin' Engineers of Rose-Hulman at 7PM.
