NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - On Saturday, March 27th your Mount St. Joseph Lions traveled to Manchester University to take on the Spartans. The Lions struggled offensively in the matchup as the Lions fell 5-0.
The Spartans started the first half with a goal in just the 3rd minute and scored again in the 37th minute. The Lions failed to record a shot in the first half but to start the second the Lions fired two shots which both were off target. The Lions continued to play stellar defense in the half until there was 10 minutes remaining. In the last 10 minutes of the match the Spartans tallied 3 goals to make the score 5-0. The Lions provided a late push to score a goal but a header from freshman
Tristen Miller (Cleves, Ohio/Taylor) ended wide right from the net.
