CINCINNATI, Ohio - On Sunday, September 25th your Mount St. Joseph University Lions welcomed the Battling Bishops to Schueler Field for the final non-conference match of the season. The Lions defense shined but could not generate much offensively. Senior goalkeeper
Madison Hart was dominate for the Lions in the tie versus a tough Battling Bishops attack.
In the first half the Lions were held in check offensively. Defensively the Lions stood strong, making 4 saves. The Bishops sent a total of 9 shots towards the net but could not sneak past Hart heading into the half tied 0-0.
In the second half it was more of the same for the Lions. The Mount got a pair of shots off but none found the target. Hart also made a pair of saves on 7 Ohio Wesleyan shots but nobody could find the net. After 90 minutes of play the score still read 0-0. Hart led the way making 6 saves and earning her 3rd shutout of the season.
