CINCINNATI, Ohio - On Saturday, February 11th your Mount St. Joseph University women's basketball team welcomed the Quakers of Earlham to the Harrington Center. The Lions fell behind early trailing by 3 points after the first quarter of play. But, the Lions bounced back winning the next 3 quarters to secure the win. 
Karlee Mills was dominant for the Lions scoring a career high 26 points. 5 other Lions also netted double digit points in the highest scoring victory of the season.
In the first quarter the Lions got off to a slow start. The Quakers took advantage taking a 7 point lead with just under a minute to play in the quarter. A 3-point bucket from 
Karlee Mills and a free throw from 
Carlee Daulton trimmed the deficit to 3 before the 2nd quarter.
In the 2nd quarter, the Lions started to find their rhythm offensively. The Lions began the second quarter on a 10-2 run taking a 4 point lead. But, Earlham came storming back taking a 2-point lead with 2:23 remaining in the half. 
Madison Drummonds and 
Karlee Mills began to lead the charge for The Mount. Drummonds knocked down 4 free throws followed by a 3-point play from 
Karlee Mills to give the Lions a 5 point lead with 40 seconds to go in the half. Earlham would knock down a shot at the buzzer trimming the Lions lead to 40-37 heading into halftime.
To start the second half, Mills again was leading the charge. Mills hit a jumper followed by a pair of free throws to quickly give the Lions a 7 point advantage. The Quakers and Lions would trade buckets until the Quakers pulled within 1 with 3:35 remaining in the 3rd quarter. But, the Lions continued to get to the free throw line.

Chloe Jansen all knocked down their free throws to build the Lions lead back to 7 heading into the 4th quarter.
To start the 4th quarter, 
Shelby Turner and 
Chloe Jansen knock down jumpers extending the Lions lead to 11. The Lions didn't slow down as 
Annabelle Williams got hot from beyond the arc. Williams drilled a pair of 3 pointers followed by a pair of free throws from Jansen and a jumper from 
Anyiah Murphy giving the Lions a 15 point lead with 5:34 left to play. The Lions continued to knock down shots and trade buckets holding their 15 point lead to the end. After 4 quarters the Lions were victorious defeating the Quakers of Earlham 92-77.
The Lions 92 points is the most points scored in a game this season from the Lions offense. 
Karlee Mills lead the way with a career high 26 points while adding 3 rebounds and 3 steals. 
Anyiah Murphy also added 12 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals. 
Chloe Jansen, 
Madison Drummonds, 
Carlee Daulton, and 
Annabelle Williams all recorded 10 points in the victory as well. Daulton was dominant on the glass earning a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
