CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph men's basketball team moved to 4-2 in the HCAC this season with a 93-58 win over Earlham on Saturday. The win gave the Lions their second straight blow-out victory at home in league play.
The Lions jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead before Earlham was able to get on the board. They would continue to build the lead taking a 44-20 advantage into the halftime break. The second half was much of the same as they continued to push the lead out with a stellar offensive and defensive effort.
Offensively once again it was
Luke Collinsworth leading the way scoring a team-high 29 points, to go along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
Jack Kolar was perfect from the field in the game going 7-for-7, including a 6-for-6 effort from three-point range, scoring a season-high 20 points. Freshman
Dylan Hammonds registered the first double-double of his Lions career after narrowly missing one on Wednesday. He scored 14 points to go along with a game-high 13 rebounds.
