Lions Win Thriller at Berea 1-0

Box Score BEREA, KENTUCKY — The Mount St. Joseph University men's soccer team defeated Berea College 1-0 on the road Wednesday evening.
The first half was a back-and-forth contest, with the Lions generating multiple opportunities to break the tie. The Mount offense took 14 shots, while the defense held Berea to just nine. Despite constant pressure on the Mountaineers' defense, the Lions went into halftime tied 0-0.
In the second half, the opportunities continued for the Mount.
