Terre Haute, Ind. – The Mount St. Joseph Lions hit the road for a key HCAC match up against Rose-Hulman and came away with a hard-fought 68-56 victory over the Fightin' Engineers.
The game started as a defensive battle, with the Lions holding a narrow 12-11 lead after the first quarter. However, they found their rhythm in the second, adding 17 points to maintain their edge heading into halftime.
Karlee Mills and 
Anyiah Murphy led the offensive charge, dropping 15 and 14 points, respectively. 
Madison Drummonds also made a big impact with 11 points while tying Murphy for a team-high eight rebounds.
The Lions capitalized on their opportunities at the free-throw line, shooting an impressive 71%, while also hitting 43% from the field. Their efficiency and strong team play helped secure the conference win.
