MIDWAY, Kentucky - The Mount St. Joseph men's volleyball team got a road non-conference win on Wednesday night, taking down the Midway Eagles 3 sets to 1.
The Lions took set one of the match 25-22, dropped set two 22-25 to even the match, but bounced back to secure the win taking set three 25-21 and the decisive fourth 25-18.
They were led by a pair of players with 16 kills. Senior middle
Ryan Bollhauer was unreal in the match with 16 kills and a .727 hitting percentage. He did not have a single error across 22 total attacking attempts. The other Lion with 16 was standout freshman
Carson Reed, who hit .407 in the match and added 6 digs.
Senior setter
Ben Carmosino dished out 43 assists and registered 6 digs. Freshman libero had a team-high 13 digs in the match to lead the back line.

The Lions will be on the road to a pair of hosts this weekend. On Saturday they will play Augustana and Marian in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the Augustana match starts at 1:00 pm and Marian starts at 3:00 pm. On SUnday they will stop in Plymouth, Wisconsin where they will take on Lakeland at 2:00 PM.
