CARMEL, Indiana - The Mount St. Joseph women's golf team capped off the finest season in program history with a trio of players being recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference as all-league performers. This included the program taking both of the marquee awards.
Aly Haverstraw polished off one of the finest careers in program history by being named the HCAC's Player of the Year. This season Haverstraw was the medalist in three tournaments and finished top-five in four others including a fifth place finish at the HCAC Championships. She finished the season as the #105 ranked golfer in all of Division III and the #17 ranked player in the region. For the season she posted an average score of 77.3 per round.Â
Debra Brogan finished her first season with the Lions by winning the HCAC's Newcomer of the Year award. Brogan got the first win of her career at the StateLine Shootout, and finished top five in four other tournaments including a third place finish at the HCAC Championships. She finishes the season with an average scoring round of 79.8 strokes per round.Â
The final Lion appearing on the list was the 2025 HCAC individual champion
Amy Smith. Smith finished top-five in six events this season including the win at the HCAC Tournament. She had an average score of 80.5 strokes per round for the season.
