A Heartfelt Send-Off: Parent Academy Graduation Ceremony
Joe Lion kicked off the summer season by making a special appearance at the Parent Academy Graduation Ceremony. This unique event celebrates the parents and guardians who've taken the time to better understand the college transition through workshops and sessions offered by MSJ. Dressed in his trademark navy and gold, Joe cheered on families as they received their certificates, posed for plenty of celebratory photos, and handed out hugs and high-fives like a true king of the pack. His presence reminded everyone that at the Mount, students and families alike are embraced as part of the community.
Lights, Camera, Roar: Video Shoot with the Roar Store
Next on Joe's calendar was a dynamic video shoot in partnership with the Roar Store, Mount St. Joseph's on-campus shop for spirit wear and supplies. Joe showcased the latest MSJ merchandise, all while hamming it up for the camera. The video, set to debut across the university's social media channels, highlights not just the gear but the deep school pride that Joe Lion represents. It's more than a store, it's a roar of spirit, and who better to star in the promo than the most spirited Lion on campus?
Welcoming the Next Generation: New Student Orientation
Joe wrapped up his summer tour with perhaps his most important mission: welcoming incoming freshmen at New Student Orientation. As new students stepped onto campus, some nervously, some excitedly, Joe was there to greet them. He posed for photos with future Lions and helped make Joe's role? To embody the warm, inclusive energy that defines Mount St. Joseph University and to ensure that every new student feels like part of the MSJ family from day one.
