The MSJ Cheerleaders is the Official Cheerleading Squad under MSJ Athletics and is apart of the MSJ Spirit Program which consists of the MSJ Cheerleaders, Dance Team, and Joe Lion. MSJ Cheerleaders are the face of the University and promote MSJ Spirit at many athletic events such as but not limited to Home Football Games, Men’s/Women’s Basketball Games, and Women’s Volleyball. In addition, the MSJ Cheerleaders appear at many other On and Off-Campus Events such as parades, pep rallies, Commencement, and much more.

Starting the 2023-2024 season, the MJS Cheerleaders will start consistently competing at the UCA Collegiate National Championship in Orlando, FL.

The team has access to many student athletic resources that Mount Saint Joseph University has to offer as a D3 which includes but not limited to:
- Strength & Conditioning Coaching/Planning
- Athletic Trainer
- Free Tutoring
- Study Table Services within the Academic Institution
- All necessary needs to be on the team (practice gear, uniforms, shoes, etc.)
- Fundraising Opportunities
School Year Commitment

- 1 Week Long Summer Retreat (On-Campus | June)
- 3 Day Pre-Camp that goes in to UCA College Camp (end of July)
- Pre-School Practices (August)
- Practice 3x Per Week (Ends at the end of the Academic Year)
- Strength & Conditioning (Determined by Strength & Conditioning Coach)
- Mandatory Study Tables (1 Hour Per Week)
- Home Football Games
- Select Women’s Volleyball Games
- Home Men’s/Women’s Basketball Games
- On-Off Campus Appearances
- Nationals Practices (Winter Break)
