WILMORE, Kentucky - The Mount St. Joseph baseball team was on the road on Tuesday, heading south to take on the Asbury Eagles in a non-conference matchup. The Lions registered 17 hits in the game, scoring 8 times in the fourth inning to secure the 14-8 win.

The Lions got the scoring started in this one in the top of the first inning, they capitalized on a pair of Asbury errors to score twice in the inning. Ethan Mason and Brennan Martin each delivered RBIs in the inning.

Asbury would score once in the bottom of the second to draw within one run, but the Lions exploded in the top of the fourth to take control of the game. In the inning the Lions sent 12 batters to the plate, registered 8 hits and scored 8 runs. Will Record and Jack Robinson both went 2-for-2 in the inning, with Record scoring twice.
