CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mount St. Joseph baseball team hosted Anderson in the first two games of an HCAC series at Midland Field on Friday. The Lions dropped game one 21-1, with the lone brightspot being the first career homerun from
Kaden Snodgrass.
In game two the Lions got a brilliant pitching performance from
Nolan Miller, who threw 8.0 innings, allowing only five hits and a single run while striking out seven. Anderson scored three times in the ninth to take a 4-0 lead as the Lions offense was unable to get anything going in the game.
The series will wrap up tomorrow with the third game of the series, starting at noon at Midland Field.
